Support Center

If you’ve made it to this page, congratulations on taking the first step toward your goals, whatever they may be–we know it takes a lot to get here. For more than 80 years, Point University has been helping students from all walks of life take the next steps in their education, careers and faith. Through that experience, we’ve learned not everyone knows the standard process for applying to, paying for, or managing their college education, and that’s OK. We created this Support Center so you can find all the resources you might need throughout your higher education journey in one place. Whether you are a first-generation college student, a transfer student looking to go back to school or a recent high school graduate ready to jump into their first online degree program, we are here for you throughout the process, no matter what level of support you may need.

How do I login to Canvas, Campus Nexus, and other Point platforms?
All new students receive an email from Point IT. This will provide directions on how to log on to Point’s SSO (single-sign-on) intranet. Through this, you can access Canvas, Campus Nexus and more. If you need further help, you can request technical assistance from the Office of Information Technology (OIT).
How do I navigate Canvas?
In addition to the student guide linked above, all new students are enrolled in a zero-credit hour orientation class in Canvas. The self-paced class includes optional Canvas tutorial modules. There are also video guides available.
