Program Length

Our 100% online degrees allow students to work at their own pace. While there are deadlines associated with the online program, there are no required meeting times, so students are able to complete their work at their convenience. For this reason, the program length differs depending on how many credits students choose to take in a semester.

Undergraduate Programs

Associate – On average, students complete the 60 credits required for the online associate degrees in two years.
Bachelor’s – On average, students complete the 120 credits required for the online bachelor’s degrees in four years.

Graduate Programs

Master’s – On average, students complete the 36 to 45 credits required for the online graduate degrees in two years.

Certificates

On average, students complete the 6 to 18 credit hours required for the online certificate programs in one year or less.

In line with our mission to make higher education accessible to all, Point University offers online students almost 40% off the regular, on-campus tuition rate. You can rest assured that we will always do our best to keep the cost of tuition as low as possible and provide exceptional, high-demand degree programs at a much lower cost than many other institutions. Below, you will find a breakdown of tuition costs.

Undergraduate: $410 per credit hour*
Graduate: $450 to $515 per credit hour*
Certificates: $410 to $515 per credit hour*†

*Tuition rates do not include textbooks.

†Title IV funds are not available for students seeking certification alone. Students seeking only a certificate may qualify for other types of financial aid, such as private loans.

Scholarships

Community and Technical College Graduate Scholarship – Online students who transfer to Point from a community or technical college are eligible to receive a $250 scholarship specifically for transfer students. No application is required.
Point Community Scholarship – First-term online students have the opportunity to receive a scholarship valued at up to $15,000 over the life of any Point University fully online degree program. Terms and conditions apply.
